1. Introduction & Core Philosophy

At OVIU, we believe your biological data is fundamentally yours. Our entire architecture—from the Cycle Intelligence algorithms to our Early Access website—is built on a foundation of absolute privacy. We do not sell, rent, package, or trade your data with advertising networks, third-party analytics brokers, or data aggregators.

2. Information We Collect

On Our Website: We collect only the email address you voluntarily provide when joining our Early Access waitlist. This email is strictly used to notify you of launch updates and beta testing opportunities.

In the OVIU App: To provide accurate Cycle Intelligence and Rhythm Age metrics, OVIU processes indicators logged by you (e.g., symptoms, energy ratings) and streams biometric information from your Apple Health repository (e.g., sleep duration, basal body temperature, active energy, heart rate variability). This data collection is strictly governed by your explicit OS-level permissions.

3. On-Device Computation & Encrypted Backup

Unlike traditional health platforms that transfer intimate cycle logs to remote clouds for analysis, OVIU computes all intelligence on-device. Machine learning calculations, cycle phase estimations (Menstrual, Follicular, Ovulation, Luteal), cognitive focus predictions, and energy levels are computed locally on your device's processor (such as the Apple Neural Engine). When you sign in to your account, an encrypted copy of your data is stored on our backend strictly for backup and restore purposes—never for analysis, profiling, or monetization.

4. Third-Party Integrations & HealthKit

OVIU integrates exclusively with Apple HealthKit to read and write your biological data. We do not integrate with third-party tracking SDKs (like Facebook Pixel or Google Analytics) inside the iOS app. Your HealthKit data is never used for marketing or advertising purposes by OVIU or any third party.

5. Cryptographic Control & Security

Local application storage is protected by AES-256 military-grade encryption and isolated via native iOS sandboxing. Decryption and access keys are managed through biometric authorization (Face ID or Touch ID) on your physical device. Account backups stored on our backend are encrypted end-to-end so that we possess no keys to read or decrypt your health records.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

You maintain ultimate control over your health data. Deleting your account or removing the OVIU app allows you to permanently erase local cycle data as well as any encrypted backup stored on our backend for account restoration. Waitlist email addresses are retained only until our public launch sequence is completed, after which they may be deleted upon request.
